Preparing to VolunteerAre you over 18 years of age and living in Liverpool? Want to do
something different and have fun doing it?
Want to gain experience and
skills to help you move into work or training?
Have you thought about volunteering? Come along to our free Preparing to Volunteer session (dates and venue on the downloadable pdf - see below) The Preparing to Volunteer sessions are specifically designed for people like you. It will enable you to find a suitable volunteering placement and be ready to start volunteering with a voluntary/community organisation. This brief, informal course is aimed at people who have very little or no previous experience of volunteering or work-related activity. The session will be of particular benefit to people who are long term unemployed or newly redundant and who want to explore transferring and using their skills and experience in a voluntary capacity.
The session will begin at 10.30am and finish at 3 p.m. with all materials being provided. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided but NOT lunch. THIS IS NOT A DROP IN - YOU MUST RESERVE A PLACE! As numbers are limited please contact Steph Gregory to reserve a place on 0151 237 3982, or email: steph@volunteercentreliverpool.org.uk
