Have a look at the
various ways that you can register with us and
choose the one that best suits you...
Online:
Wherever you
live, to volunteer in your local area go to
the Do-It
site and register online to browse
volunteering opportunities.
If you find something you like the look of
your request will then be passed on to
whichever Volunteer Centre posted the
volunteering role.
Enquiries made
this way generally receive a reply within a
few working days.
Please
note that due to the increasing number of
people registering via this option we will
only send out a maximum of six requested
volunteering opportunities per volunteer
in any four-week period. If you request
more than that number we will only respond
with the first half-dozen received.
If you are studying in the
Liverpool area you could instead check out /
get registered with the volunteeringliverpool
site (www.volunteeringliverpool.org.uk/volunteerRegister.aspx)
which operates in a similar manner to Do-It
but is specifically set up for local students…
Complete a form:
Or, if you want to
volunteer in the Liverpool area, you can
download a version of our own registration
forms in rich text format which can be
completed on-screen, saved and e-mailed back
by clicking the icon below:
- please do not alter the
formatting.
(There
might be issues with the document
depending upon the device you use to
access it. Tablets and i-pads tend to be
problematic...)
If you
would prefer to be sent a registration
form in the post please contact us by
telephone on 0151-237 3975 or e-mail registration@volunteercentreliverpool.org.uk leaving your
details including an address and
postcode. This process can take a
little longer but each enquiry will be
dealt with.
Drop-In sessions:
We are running
drop-in sessions whereby you can just pop in to
the office on Dale Street and someone will be
able to see you (and you can complete a
registration form while you are waiting to be
seen).
These take place on Tuesday afternoons between 2
and 4 pm and on Thursday mornings between 10:30
and 12:30 lunchtime.
Please
note that you may have to wait to be seen.
Please note
that the entrance to the building is on
the corner of Dale Street and Fontenoy
Street.
Mentoring service:
Would you like some extra help to volunteer?
Are you out of work?
Would you like to gain new skills and
experience?
Would you like to volunteer but aren’t
sure where to start?
If you haven’t
used your skills, knowledge, or life
experience for a while, you can start to lose
confidence in yourself and forget all about
the good things you have to offer as a
volunteer.
We can help you to take the next step in to
volunteering.
If you are on a work programme
or you are a work programme provider
please contact Volunteer Centre Liverpool
before referring any clients.
If you
have any enquiries regarding work
