               Whitechapel Centre Fundraising - Collection Can Champion

Fundraising is a vital part of our work and underpins all that we do. Collection cans placed in locations around Merseyside can generate income when we need it most and we’d like to expand this aspect of our fundraising activity.
This role can be done in your own time in an area of Merseyside that suits you. All you have to do is:
  • find places that will host collection cans;
  • put the cans in place with relevant publicity material – such as our telephone line cards;
  • collect and replace the cans when they get full;
  • give the full cans into The Whitechapel Centre to be counted.
We are looking for collection can champions who have:
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • An understanding of The Whitechapel Centre and the work that we do (we can help you with this!)
  • Enthusiasm
  • Good organisational skills
  • Initiative

If you are interested in becoming a fundraising collection can champion then you can find the application form here: https://www.whitechapelcentre.co.uk/volunteer-application-form.html
